DoD M&S Conference

The annual Department of Defense (DoD) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Conference (DMSC) is the seminal forum for the DoD M&S community, bringing together government and military executives, strategic planners, and senior technical managers to enable the community to develop a common view of the state of M&S practice, expose members to the broader M&S community needs (shortfalls, issues, and challenges), and examine M&S gaps associated with policies, procedures, and practices within DoD. The conference also serves as an important forum for discussing and coordinating future plans, goals, and programs within the DoD M&S community.

The agenda includes presentations by Senior Government leaders and representatives of key DoD M&S programs.

The event is hosted by the National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA) (http://www.trainingsystems.org/), an affiliate of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), in support of the DoD Modeling and Simulation Coordination Office (M&S CO) and other participating DoD agencies and Military Services. At past conferences, the Army M&S Office (AMSO) (http://www.amso.army.mil/), the Navy M&S Office (NMSO) (http://nmso.navy.mil/), the Air Force Agency for M&S (AFAMS) (https://www.afams.af.mil/), and the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) have all conducted their M&S forums in conjunction with the DoD M&S Conference.
